The Master Plan discovery process

From our first meeting, we begin to tailor your remodel or addition to you and your lifestyle. We look at how you use your home on weekdays, weekends, and for entertaining. We look at simple things like who gets up in the morning first and where someone likes to read the morning paper. We ask what you do at Thanksgiving or on other holidays, and whether you have children at home or at college, keep pets, or have hobbies with special space needs.

Then we consult with you on the types of materials that blend with your home as well as listen to your likes and dislikes. We look for ways to add comfort, color, light, flow, and atmosphere. We look for better ways to utilize space.

Our customers often find the discovery part of the remodel extremely exhilarating. We get you thinking about your home and your space in ways you never have before.

We're interior designers as well as builders

Our staff includes interior designers to help you realize the possibilities in a room or addition. We help you make smart selections in finishes and materials. If you have young children or pets, we'll show you durable finishes for cabinets, walls and counters. We'll recommend tougher, easier-to-clean flooring. We can even help with problems such as clutter.
