Scott Gregor, CR, CGR, CAPS

President, Master Plan Remodeling

  • 1972 - Began career working as a framing carpenter
  • 1976 - Founded framing company as Scott Gregor Construction, CCB 015070; framed high-end custom homes
  • 1982 - Worked in commercial remodeling and tenant improvement company as tradesman and superintendent
  • 1987 - Co-founded Master Plan Construction, Inc.
  • 1993 to present - Certified Remodeler (CR) nationally tested through NARI (National Association of Remodel Industry); certification is maintained through continuing education
  • 2000 to present - Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) national certification through the National Assoc. of Home Builders (NAHB); certification maintained through continuing education
  • 2004 to present - Certified Aging-in-Plance Specialist (CAPS) national certification through the National Assoc. of Home Builders (NAHB); certification maintained through continuing education
  • Past president and current member of the Oregon Remodelers Association (ORA)
  • Member of Home Builders Association of Metro Portland, Remodelers Council (HBAMP); Remodelers Council, steering and tour committee

Marlene Buckner

Marlene Buckner, ASID

Interior Designer

  • 1999-2002 - Attended Oregon State University; graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design; won two national, one international, and two regional awards with scholarships.
  • 2002-2003 - Worked as a designer and project manager for a commercial design firm designing high-end hospitals nationally
  • 2003-present - Employed by Master Plan; provide space planning, whole house design, specialized kitchen and bath design, and interior selection services to clients.
  • 2005 - Passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualification exam (NCIDQ # 020902); required for the professional interior design membership, certification, or licensure; certification maintained through continuing education
  • 2000-2005 - Allied Member American Society of Interior Designers (Allied Member ASID)
  • 2005-present - Professional Member American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)

  • 2002-2005 - Worked as a designer and CADD specialist for residential, commercial and health care firm designing high end homes, restaurants and hospitals
  • 2005-present - Employed by Master Plan; produce professional floor plans and elevations in CADD for all client projects; provide space planning, specialized kitchen and bath design, and interior selection services to clients.
